Team Hope are looking for donations of Christmas presents for needy children in Africa. If you'd like to participate all of the information you need is on the leaflet sent home today. Remember the four w words when filling your shoebox- put in something you can write with, wash with, wear and something with a wow factor (a toy). And don't forget to leave the box open but secured with a rubber band. Boxes will be collected from school after the mid-term break.
What can you find in a bucket of monster guts? Spiders, bugs, eyeballs, grasshoppers and bones. Slimy, stinky and weird!
A monster broke into our classroom and made a dreadful mess! We found paint on the floor, footprints on the walls and something had taken a bite out of Ms. McKeon's barm brack! But don't worry- the monster had escaped out the window before we got back! (Of course we all know that there are no real monsters.....just our teacher playing a trick!) We talked about fire safety today and even found a fire hose and extinguisher! Then we coloured a fire picture. Take a few minutes to chat about fire safety in the home today.
What a colourful class we had today! Jersey Day gave us lots of opportunities for learning- Geography, colours, numbers, pattetns. Look at the real human sets we made!
We had an adventure today going on a nature walk to look for signs that it is Autumn. The fresh air was wonderful and we collected lots of crunchy leaves so we could do leaf rubbing when we got back to class!
